Located in Ogden, Utah, Young Powersports Euro becomes the region’s exclusive destination for Ducati, BMW and Triumph Motorcycles. Following its Grand Opening in August and led by general manager Jeff Schoetz, the Riverdale Road location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
“Though we’ve only been here briefly, we’ve seen the tremendous impact that offering these machines has on Ogden,” says Schoetz. “We look forward to showing others around us what we have to offer.”
Part of this is welcoming folks into a motorcycle dealership included bringing in guests like mayor Russ Porter, Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce president/CEO Chuck Leonhardt and executives from across the Young Group of dealerships. In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony some real fun was afforded by BMW Motorrad bringing out their motorcycle demo truck for the weekend.
“We’ve loved seeing the support that our manufacturers have offered us in our location, and it’s clear that they’re eager to engage with the riders here in Weber county,” adds Schoetz. “Prior to our opening, the closest place to get machines from Ducati and BMW was near Salt Lake.”
Young Powersports Euro will become the first installment of a new dealership campus. The location — which currently carries Ducati, BMW and Triumph — will soon have Young Powersports Ogden as a neighbor when that operation moves from their facility behind the NewGate Mall.
In addition to the Euro destination, Young Powersports is also celebrating the openings of their two Missoula, Montana, operations, which share the same facility. The acquisitions establish their presence in a third state, and bring Harley-Davidson into their family of brands.
“Our organization is known for its rapid growth, and that’s still clearly a part of our identity,” concludes Schoetz. “With Euro and the two Montana dealerships, I hope people are able to also recognize that we’re setting new standards in our industry as well. Young Powersports is becoming a preeminent name nationwide, and our location will attest to why that is.”
