HARLEY DONATES STURGIS SPACE

Don’t expect to see the Harley Big Rigs or large-scale event activation taking place in Sturgis this year, even though they were among the original official sponsors of the City of Sturgis 80th Anniversary festivities. “We’ll dedicate our space along the famous Lazelle Street to provide appropriately spaced free H-D bike parking only,” is late word from The Motor Company. H.O.G. Check-in will now be at the Pappy Hoel Campground from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Riders can experience test rides at Harley-Davidson dealerships in accordance with their local health and safety guidelines. And our billboards will encourage safe, socially distant riding as well as QR codes that when scanned will share some of favorite Black Hills rides so riders can experience riding epic roads on two wheels,” says the statement from Harley-Davidson. That means at least one of the demo trucks is being diverted to our friends at Hawkeye Harley in Coralville, Iowa, instead of going to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
