Closer to home, former Harley-Davidson subsidiary Buell Motorcycles has announced its plans for a milestone of their own. “We are celebrating 40 years of Buell Motorcycles this August,” says CEO Bill Melvin. “Come join us for our homecoming party at the Buell Factory. The party will be hosted at HQ in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 26 from 3pm – 7pm EST.
Roland Sands recently said the 2023 Hammerhead was his personal favorite of the Pegasus stable:

However, that was before he helped the team dream up the “future of American Cruisers” — the180hp/450-pound Buell Super Cruiser. “It is almost like riding a motocross bike on the street,” he adds. If you can’t swing the Buell Homecoming in person, see Sands’ more in-depth impressions here:

Both the Hammerhead sportbike and Super Cruiser will be front and center at the factory for the Buell blast in order to demonstrate not only is Buell back, but the brand is ready for the future.
“Come hang out with our team and talk shop, ask questions and get the inside scoop on what we’re doing at Buell,” says Melvin. While there will be live music and food trucks, the big draw will be personal tours of the factory. “See where the magic happens. Take tours of our factory and see where your bike is built for yourself.”
