Andiamo! Vai, vai! Venerated Italian brand Moto Morini is on the gas! Despite serious economic headwinds around the globe, U.S. sales have continued to accelerate. “Year-to-date U.S. retail sales have surged 82%,” exclaims Moto Morini USA COO Chris McGee. Fueling this race to the top of the sales charts is an expanding dealer network nationwide and the arrival of exciting new 2026 models.
Leading the way is the radically redesigned X-Cape 700. We first saw the great escape break cover at AIMExpo. The early acclaim at the trade show translated to retail sales for the up-spec ADV bike. See the September issue for a closer look at the X-Cape 700.
But the market doesn’t live by ADV alone, so the X-Cape 700 sales were augmented by the category-defining Calibro 700 Bagger, which has quickly become a top seller for the affordable cruiser contingent, McGee adds.
