“A few years ago, we had the opportunity to purchase Muskogee Powersports,” recollects Ron Shumard. “What started as an exciting new chapter has grown into something truly special, thanks to our incredible customers, dedicated employees and the support of our communities. I’m excited to share another major milestone. We have officially purchased Tulsa Powersports / Honda of Tulsa — a dealership that has proudly served Oklahoma riders and outdoor enthusiasts for 47 years at the legendary corner of 21st and Yale.”
According to Shumard, the dealership will now operate as Oklahoma Powersports. “At Oklahoma Powersports, we are proud to carry Can-Am on-road and off-road vehicles, Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Honda motorcycles and Honda Power Products. Together with Muskogee Powersports, where we proudly offer Can-Am, Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Suzuki, CFMOTO and Kayo, we are excited to provide an even greater selection of products and services to customers across Oklahoma.”
While the ownership and name are changing, the end game remains in play… “Our commitment remains the same. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, a family-oriented atmosphere, and the sales, parts, service, and financing our customers deserve. We look forward to building on the strong foundation and legacy that has been established over the past 47 years.”
He adds, “This opportunity is about more than growth—it’s about honoring a legacy, investing in the powersports community, and ensuring that riders and families across Oklahoma continue to have a dealership they can trust for years to come.
