But it is not the number Douglas will miss. “What I’ll remember most are the relationships that came out of it. Many clients became long-term partners, and a lot of those partnerships turned into genuine friendships over the years. I learned a lot — not just about the business, but about myself, how I work, and the kinds of relationships and teams I value most. Right now, I’m taking some time to think about what’s next, reconnect with people, and stay open to new conversations and opportunities…
