NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION Shades of the Boston Tea Party and the “no taxation without representation” rallying cry at the start of the Revolutionary War. Suzuki issued a sales bulletin to its dealers noting that prices for 2025 ATV models will remain unaffected by current tariff actions. Dated July 3, Bulletin No. 25-061 also states, “For Motorcycle, Suzuki will absorb tariff impact and keep pricing intact on 2025 models. SUZUKI GOES BACK TO THE FUTURE WITH A PAIR OF RETRO RIDES July 4th marked the launch of a pair of retro variants: The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT offer “spirited sport riding with a relaxed posture and rider-focused features,” states the July 4th bombshell bike drop. “From the mono-round LED headlight and Suzuki-first bar-end mirrors to the 4.3-gal fuel tank and distinctive tuck-and-roll seat (GSX-8T), every element has been purposefully crafted to embody the concept.” Suzuki’s theme is “Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance,” so these motorcycles blend the soul of classic machines with next gen performance. According to the announcement, “the GSX-8T features a classic naked sport silhouette, while the GSX-8TT adds a bespoke headlight cowl and under cowl inspired by Suzuki’s race machines such as the GS1000 AMA race motorcycle. With authentic appeal and universal versatility, these bikes are poised to capture the hearts of both new riders and seasoned enthusiasts alike.” Both the GSX-8T and 8TT are expected to arrive this summer with more information to follow regarding pricing.
